Being a military brat has its ups and downs. Yes, I move around a lot, I don't really have a place I call home, and I often have to say "goodbye". But I also get to meet amazing people around the world, experience new cultures, and grow and develop as a strong individual. I have been through a lot as a military brat, but I wouldn't change any of it. I love being a part of such a great thing and I support all of our troops everywhere. I am proud of my dad's service and all that he and his fellow soldiers have done. As a part of a military family, I know how it feels to not know if your loved one will come home, I know how it feels to constantly be moving, but I also know how it feels to be part of a great community. The support and strength that I have gained from being a military brat are invaluable. Being a military brat means to be unique, strong, independent, and adaptable. I am proud of this lifestyle and I know that it has made me a better person. Being a military brat has made me who I am today and I know that it has only helped me become a greater individual.
